Step 7 Power on the storage system

Procedure

1. Power on the PDUs by turning on the main breakers.
2. Insert the power cable plug completely into the receptacle on each power supply.
3. Confirm that the POWER LED on the lower left front side of the controller is lit amber. Confirm that the POWER LED on the drive tray is lit green. Tap on the numbers to see the details.
   
   
4. Attach the bezel to the front of the controller:
   1. Insert the tabs on the left front side of the storage system into the tab holes on the bezel. ➀
      When inserting the bezel, do not push the left side.
   2. Attach the bezel by pressing the right side of the bezel to engage it with the ball catch on the front side of the storage system. ➁
      When attaching the bezel, do not push the left side.
   3. Lock the bezel with the key. ➂ Tap on the image to see it in fullscreen.
      
      
5. Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button (lower left) until the POWER LED changes to green (about 3 seconds), and then release the button.
6. Wait for the green READY LED to go on (approximately 15 minutes).
   If the READY LED does not go on after 30 minutes, contact customer support.
