Step 6 Register the VSP One File Nodes

On successful configuration of the UI, the Wizard will return to the First Time Setup selection screen.

Click on "Add Servers" - "Start" button, to begin the onboarding of the VSP One File Nodes.

Server Selection

Select to add a New or Existing Server

1. Node IP

   Provide the Node IP Address and credentials

   Default Credentials:
   Username: supervisor
   Password: supervisor

2. Server Information

   Name the Server and specify the location and a Contact Person

   Tap on the image to see it in fullscreen.
   
   
3. Server DNS

   Specify the DNS Domain and DNS Server IPs

   Note: Click on the "Add" button for each entry, to commit it.

4. SMTP

   Specify the SMTP Details.

   Note: It can be skipped by clicking on the "Skip" button at the bottom left.

5. NTP

   Provide the NTP Details.

   Time skew will cause issues in the cluster, thus a NTP Server is recommended.

   Note:Click the "Add" button, after entering the NTP Server IP, to commit the entry

6. Change the Default Passwords

   Change the default passwords now, or click the "Skip" button, bottom left, to do it later

   Default Credentials for Supervisor:
   Username: supervisor
   Password: supervisor
   
   Default Credentials for Manager:
   Username: manager
   Password: nasadmin
   
   Default Credentials for Root:
   Username: root
   Password: nasadmin

7. Install the License

   Install the license received with the VSP One File, by clicking on "Add a License Key"

8. Select the Node type

   Select whether the Node is a Cluster or Single Node

   Tap on the image to see it in fullscreen.
   
   
9. Review the Summary

   Review the Summary and Submit
