Step 5 Register with Remote Ops
If you need to setup Remote Ops, feel free to check out our Remote Ops Quick Setup Guide here. Once logged in on Ops Center to clear the banner. You can click Next, until you reach the final step where you have the option to remove the banner from the top of Ops Center.
Procedure
- Launch the Remote Ops Web Page
- Create an account for Ops Center in Remote Ops
- Add the Common Service End Point.
- Name - Anything you'd like to call the entry
- Location - Where it's installed
- Group - Optional
- Site ID - Your site ID provided by Hitachi, that links the asset to your account
- Serial - A 4 digit ID of your choosing
- IP or Hostname - Of the Ops Center Server
- Remote User - Select the account created in the previous step.
- Support User - Select the account created in the previous step.
- Add Hitachi Ops Center Administrator along with any other products you might like.
- Name - Anything you'd like to call the entry
- Location - Where it's installed
- Group - Optional
- Site ID - Your site ID provided by Hitachi, that links the asset to your account
- Serial - A 4 digit ID of your choosing
- IP or Hostname - Of the Ops Center Server
- Remote User - Select the account created in the previous step.
- Support User - Select the account created in the previous step.
Nagivate to Remote Ops, usually http://<IP or hostname of Remote Ops server:6696>
Head over to 'User Management', select the 'Remote User Id'. under the current Difed Remote Used I'd you can -Add New User Here-, specify a Ops Center user.
After you typed the user you can hit Enter to add the credentials under the 'Detail for Remote User Id' section as seen below. Hit Enter once done
By going to summary and clicking on 'Add a device' in blue. You'll be presented with the below screen. You can enter:
